Laser Light Clock
Laser Light Clock - Red Dot Award Winner 2012 - This small wall clock uses an array of visible laser lights to project the hour markers onto a wall while seperate hour and minute hands are also projected via an internal prism and slowly rotate to mark the passage of time throughout the day. This design is especially effective for reading the time in dim conditions or at night. The internal diffraction prism mechanism effectively uses one beam of laser light to shoot out all visible beams in order to increase energy efficiency. The unit uses an auditory sensor that can turn on and off the unit with a clap or other sound pattern to further conserve energy.
