Saddle Scan - Winner of The Best Of The Best Red Dot Award for 2015, this unique scanner incorporates a dual scan head to make quick work of scanning delicate books and manuscripts especially for archival activities. Books are gently "saddled" onto the edge of the scanner minimizing strain on the spine, especially of older, out-of-print or rare books. The scanner can also be folded flat and used like a convential scanner for documents. Dual special high-resolution laser scan head takes ultra-high resolution scans of document pages up to 15"x18". The machined aluminum exoskeleton ensures a rock-solid frame with no chance of movement that can affect the scan quality.
